Benedict Cumberbatch said what? On this one, I’m not quite sure either. The Sherlock star definitely has something new and exciting brewing with the BBC, but neither party would reveal any – and I do mean any – details.

The Beeb’s official twitter recently posted something very, very cryptic and it was enough to set all those Cumberbabes’ (or Cumberb*****s, if you’re feeling risque) tongues wagging. No clues on what it could be, but B-Cumb looks very Sherlockian in the photo. Only problem – the next Sherlock thing the actor is scheduled to film will be the Christmas special and it’s way too early for that. It also doesn’t look Hollow Crown-related. Beneton Cumbersome… no sorry… Benedict Cumberbatch is about to star in a BBC Two movie, but he definitely isn’t clad in Richard III garb in the photo. So… what is it? There’s a sure way to get TV addicts on your case, it’s to withhold vital information – such as new BC material to fawn over.
