Britney Spears is ''torn'' about leaving her Las Vegas residency.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker - who recently celebrated 100 shows of her 'Piece of Me' show at The Axis in Planet Hollywood - has been offered a contract to continue performing at the venue beyond 2015, but is unsure whether or not to accept the offer.

She admitted: ''I'm not really sure. I haven't made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It's a lot, a lot of fun but I'm kind of torn right now. I don't really know what I want to do.''

As well as working on her residency, the 33-year-old singer is also busy in the studio recording new music.

Speaking to E! News at the Teen Choice Awards at Los Angeles' Galen Theater last night (16.08.15), she said: ''We're having fun right now. I'm working with some women who are amazing writers. I have ballads and, of course, dance music--fun cheeky sexy stuff.''

Britney was honoured at last night's ceremony - which she attended with sons Sean, nine, and Jayden, eight, and niece Lexie - with the Candie's Choice Style Icon award and urged young people to be ''fearless'' with their fashion choices as she picked up the prize from Fifth Harmony.

She said: ''Fashion has always been something I love to experiment with.

''It gives us all a chance to express ourselves and our own personalities and to shine in our own way. To all the teens out there watching, be fearless in your choices and don't be afraid to be yourself.''
