Rappers Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip have joined forces to release a free mixtape featuring collaborative tracks recorded over the course of two decades.

The longtime friends have come together to give fans an early holiday present with a 28-track mixtape titled The Abstract and the Dragon.

The cover art pays tribute to Q-Tip's group, A Tribe Called Quest, and its popular album The Low End Theory. New tracks include a song called Thank You, which features Lil Wayne and Kanye West.

In the trailer for the mixtape, Busta gushes over the new collaboration and his longtime friendship with his pal, saying, "Me and Tip, we've been friends, brothers for 26 years. It's weird for me when I really think of all the years that have passed and all this work we done did together, all this greatness we accomplished together. All the uncharted territory that we embarked on together. It's almost like we're still living that flawless victory experience."

Besides the mixtape, both artists are currently working on new solo albums.
