A stampede of fashion designers took to Alice Tully Hall in New York City for the annual CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Fashion Awards, appearing on the red carpet alongside a variety of models, journalists and other fashion professionals.
Among the designers were Tory Burch, Reed Krackoff, Billy Reid, Shayne Oliver and Yigal Azrouel, who were joined by the likes of former Harper's Bazaar Russia editor Mira Duma and 'Fashion: Backstage Pass' host Alina Cho. This year the talk of the event was Rihanna's daring see through gown, which she teamed with a matching headpiece and flirtatious pink fur boa (see part 2).
