Heart-throb actor Colin Farrell wants to launch his own film company in his native Ireland to place the Emerald Isle on the movie map.
The Miami Vice star has lived in the US since his acting breakthrough in TIGERLAND, but the 30-year-old is ready to return home.
He says: "I'd love to make films in Ireland, but there are no great Irish characters I'd like to play right now.
"I would maybe put some money back into the place by setting up my own production company, like Pierce Brosnan has done."
