The lavish, one-of-a-kind trailer the late Elizabeth Taylor used on the set of 1963 movie classic Cleopatra is to be auctioned off over the weekend (23-24Jun12).
The 36-foot (10.9-meter) home from home, which features hand-painted murals on the walls, a working a phone in the bathroom, full bar and intricate handmade decor, cost Twentieth Century Fox executives $75,000 50 years ago - that's an estimated $560,000 (350,000) today.
But before a new owner can get his or her hands on the trailer following the Hollywood Extravaganza 6 sale in Los Angeles, it will be used by Lindsay Lohan, who is playing Taylor in new biopic Liz & DICk.
The trailer was reportedly gifted to a Fox studio boss when Cleopatra wrapped - as a token gesture for investing in the film.
