Ellie Goulding can't understand why people are more interested in her love life than her music.

The 26-year-old singer - who has previously been romantically linked to Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan and Skrillex - finds it frustrating how people care about is who she is dating rather than admiring her voice.

Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: ''I'm single and I don't have a boyfriend, so it's funny always being linked with everyone.''

The 'Burn' hitmaker admits fans often come up to her and ask if she'll end up marrying Calvin Harris - who is currently dating Rita Ora - because they collaborated on the track 'I Need Your Love' last year, which featured a steamy video of them passionately kissing.

She explained: ''For a long time people thought I was with Calvin Harris because of the romantic video we did. They still come up to me and say hope we get married.''

However, the blonde beauty insists she'd never date the DJ but she has got her sights set on joining forces with him on another song in the near future.

She said: ''We'd love to do another track together soon. 'I Need Your Love' was so much fun to make, we have a special connection - but just a musical one.''
