Emily Blunt clammed up when asked about rumours of her ex-boyfriend Michael Buble’s infidelity when they were together seven years ago, saying she “never want[s] to talk about it.”

The 32 year old Sicario actress, who now has 19 month old daughter Hazel with her husband of five years John Krasinski, told radio presenter Howard Stern on his SiriusXFM show on Wednesday (September 30th) that her split with Buble was “complicated” and that she doesn’t feel comfortable discussing it in depth.

However, the British star did say that she and the 40 year old Canadian singer “had a good time” while they were together and that she still loves his family, especially his mother Amber. “I loved his family. I love his family. I still do.”

For his part, Buble has said in the past that his break-up with Blunt was his responsibility. “I was a jerk and I was careless and reckless with the hearts of women I was with. And I got my karma. I earned it,” he said earlier in 2015.

Buble is now married to Argentinian model Luisana Lopilato, and is currently expecting his second child with her. “I got my butt and heart kicked and it hurt me enough that I looked in the mirror and I didn't want it to happen again. If I wanted to be a happy guy and really fall in love, I would have to love myself.”

During the interview, Blunt also addressed the recent furore over comments she made about American citizenship. She had joked that she had “made a terrible mistake” by accepting US citizenship after she watched the first Republican Party presidential nomination debates last month.

“I was bummed,” she told Stern about the rancorous fallout. “I was sort of astonished by the outrage, because it was meant completely as an innocuous joke. So I think I was more taken aback, so it did bum me out.”
