Enrique came out on the losing end when he decided to battle a drone onstage in Tijuana, Saturday.
Enrique Iglesias is recovering after suffering a nasty injury at the hands of a drone on Saturday night, during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico. The singer was playing in front of 12,000 fans at the city’s Plaza de Toros de Playas when the incident happened, but not even a few sliced fingers could stop Enrique as he continued to play for another 30 minutes.
Enrique is on the mend after his scary drone encounter.
Iglesias was playing the show as part of his as part of his 'Sex and Love World Tour', which kicked off last month. In a statement to the Associated Press on Sunday Joseph Carozza, a representative for the singer, confirmed he was now on the mend following the accident.

“During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot. Something went wrong and he had an accident," the statement read.
"He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show. He was rushed to the airport where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to L.A. to see a specialist.”

After the concert some audience members shared pics of the singer continuing to perform on social media, showing him nursing a bleeding, bandaged hand. But hopefully Iglesias and his hand will be feeling better soon, as he’s set to continue his 'Sex and Love World Tour' on July 3rd when the show hits Mexico City.
