Flight 7500 is a plane flying from Los Angeles to Japan, a trip that should take approximately ten hours. Of the many people who board the flight, one is a cocky student who debunks the idea that electronic devices should be turned off during a flight; and one is a couple whose only hand luggage is a mysterious wooden box.
The journey starts off as normally as it could be: everyone is served dinner; a few passengers relax and listen to their iPods and a few watch whatever is showing on the TV screen on the back of the seats. So when the pilot announces that they will be experiencing some slight turbulence, no one thinks too much of it.
But it turns out to be more than turbulence. things start going wrong all too quickly inside the plane. Passengers are thrown out of their seats and an air hostess is thrown into an overhead luggage compartment. A supernatural force is on board the flight and it's up to everyone on the plane to work out where it is and how it got on board before everyone dies.
