Balthazar Blake is a powerful sorcerer, and he's aware of dark times ahead for the human race, there is one chance to fight the evil force and that's to find a young boy who will turn into a powerful sorcerer. Dave Stutler is just that boy, he's still in school but an average student, nothing really makes him stand out from the rest of his class and when he's approached by Balthazar he can't believe what he hears and sees. For David, magic only appears in story books but all that is about to change as he becomes the sorcerer's apprentice.
