Derek Thompson is a minor league ice hockey player with the nickname 'The Tooth Fairy', racking up penalty minutes is one of his favourite past times. The more damage he does to the opposing team, the more his fans love him. When Derek is sentenced to one week of being the real tooth fairy for admonishing a child's dreams.
For one week, Derek's job will be the hardest thing he's ever done. Being graceful, the tutu and fairy wings are the least of his problems, if he misses one assignment, he must serve another full week as punishment. Finding his feet as the new tooth fairy won't be easy but as he learns more lessons and visits more children, Derek begins to remember a few dreams of his own.
Tooth Fairy is released in UK cinemas on 28th May 2010.
