George Clooney is giving his girlfriend Stacy Keibler a career boost by hiring her as his co-star in a glitzy advert to launch his new tequila venture.
The Hollywood actor has stepped behind the camera to direct a short film for his tequila brand Casamigos, and he has enlisted former wrestler Keibler to share the screen with him.
Clooney will star opposite Keibler, as well as supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber, in the advert, titled It Could Happen, Please Drink Responsibly. It was reportedly filmed at one of Clooney's luxurious homes.
The actor has developed the drinks brand with businessman Gerber.
Clooney is the latest in a long line of stars to move into the drinks business - Sean 'Diddy' Combs is an investor in a vodka brand, Drew Barrymore has ventured into the wine-making trade, and Jay Z is involved in a number of drinks brands including cognac and Champagne.
In the tequila business Clooney will face competition from other celebrity brand owners including Motley Crue singer Vince Neil and pop star/actor Justin Timberlake.
