The No Doubt singer was last in the judge’s chair for season nine, but did return in season 10 as the advisor for Team Blake in the Battle Rounds.
Also returning is host Carson Daly, with season 12 set to debut on NBC in February 2017.
“We can’t wait to experience the unique chemistry and energy Gwen, Alicia, Blake and Adam will bring to season 12,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment in a statement.
“With Miley returning for season 13, we’re truly ecstatic about the unmatched musical know-how and talent coming together in our coming seasons.”
‘The Voice’ is currently in its 11th season and the addition of Cyrus to the judging team has been credited with bringing in younger viewers.
Right now the competition is in the ‘Battle Rounds’ stage, with Sammy Hagar, Joan Jett, Charlie Puth and Bette Midler all joining the coaches to act as advisors.
