Michael Buble has joked his latest song is about Harry Styles.

The smooth crooner's new album, 'To Be Loved', features a song called 'It's a Beautiful Day' about a man who is happy his disastrous relationship has finally ended, and he jokingly claimed it was penned about the infamous One Direction heartbreaker, who recently split from hopeless romantic Taylor.

Michael also revealed Taylor - famed for composing songs about her ex-boyfriends - was going to be his next victim.

Asked who the song was about, he laughed: ''Harry Styles. He left me for Taylor. I'll be writing about her, too, soon.''

The Canadian hitmaker wed actress Luisana Lopilato in 2011 and the pair announced they were expecting their first child in January, which Michael says has changed his outlook on his music and made him realise he isn't concerned about album sales.

He explained: ''I used to worry about how the single would do and how the record would sell. And the truth is, I love this record. I'm so proud of it. But, at the end of the day, if it sells 10 million or 10 copies, I've got bigger fish to fry. I've got a wife and a kid I love very much.''
