Janet Jackson has confirmed that she will resume her world tour in September this year, after the pop megastar cancelled 75 live dates in 2016 in order to start a family.

Jackson gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Eissa, on January 3rd this year at the age of 50 with her husband Wissam El Mana, from whom she later announced her separation last month.

The singer has rescheduled the North American leg of The Unbreakable world tour to begin on September 7th in Lafayette, Louisiana, followed by a further 55 dates across the continent in the fall. However, she has yet to confirm whether the 21 European dates she had cancelled – including three in the United Kingdom – would be rescheduled.

Just three months after the birth of her first child, it's been revealed that Janet Jackson and her Qatari husband Wissam Al Mana are separating after five years of marriage. No reason has been confirmd for the split by either party, but there is plenty of speculation regarding their circumstances.

Singer Justin Timberlake faced backlash on Twitter Sunday evening, after he tweeted his thoughts on the speech actor Jesse Williams’ gave when he collected his Humanitarian Award at the 2016 BET Awards. Timberlake tweeted, “@iJesseWilliams tho… #Inspired #BET2016”, after hearing the speech, but his words caused some to call the singer out for appropriating black culture throughout his career.

Justin Timberlake angered some on Twitter after he responded to Jesse Williams’ BET Awards’ speech.

After Timberlake’s tweet, user Ernest Owens, responded: "So does this mean you're going to stop appropriating our music and culture? And apologize to Janet too. #BETAwards.” Owens’ response referenced Timberlake's 2004 Super Bowl performance during which he accidentally flashed Janet Jackson’s breast.

Just weeks after announcing that she’s postponing her latest European tour in order to start a family, multiple reports are suggesting that Janet Jackson is expecting her first child at the age of 49.

A number of media outlets, beginning with Entertainment Tonight, reported on Wednesday evening (May 4th) that the pop star is expecting a baby with her husband, 41 year old businessman Wissam Al Mana, less than two weeks shy of her 50th birthday as the result of successful treatment from a fertility specialist.

Janet Jackson has told her fans she will be postponing her Unbreakable World Tour in order to ‘plan a family’ with husband Wissam Al Mana. Last month the 49-year-old postponed the beginning of the European leg of the tour, after previously postponing 29 dates on the US leg of the tour.

Janet Jackson has postponed all of the UK and European dates of her Unbreakable tour, which was due to begin in Birmingham on March 30th. Fans were informed of the cancellation this morning via an email from Ticketmaster and have been offered a full refund on purchased tickets.

Janet Jackson has reorganised a number of live concerts that she cancelled in order to recover from an unspecified surgery. The singer cancelled a handful of winter dates around North America last month, and these will now take place this summer.

Jackson had previously postponed a handful of gigs in October so that she could rest her vocal cords. She didn’t say whether this latest round of cancellations was related to the same complaint, but she did last week reassure fans that she wasn’t suffering from cancer.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Janet Jackson has managed to amass a personal fortune of $1 billion over the course of her career in the entertainment industry. The youngest of the Jackson siblings may be the richest of them all, but in actual fact the singer/actress/TV personality hasn't quite reached the $1 billion mark just yet.

Janet Jackson has quashed rumors about a forthcoming wedding to billionaire boyfriend Wissam Al Mana in perhaps the best way possible. She's already married, you see. She married soul singer James DeBarge in 1984 though had the marriage annulled just a year later. In 1991, Janet married music video director Rene Elizondo - the man behind her video documentary Design of a Decade - though it ended in divorce in 2000.

We're sure Janet and Wissam will have a hugely happy life together, for no other reason than they're both incredibly rich. She's, well, Janet Jackson, while he runs his family's luxury fashion empire, representing brands such as Giorgio Armani, Hermes, Balenciaga and Roberto Cavalli among others. He also owns stakes in the Saks Fifth Avenue stores in Dubai, Bahrain and Kuwait and is opening the A/X Exchange in a Qatar shopping mall. His net worth is a cool $1 billion.

Janet Jackson married her Qatari billionaire boyfriend last year without telling anybody. Rumours were surrounding the pop-singer, suggesting she was about to wed, but Jackson put things straight in a statement, according to Sky News.

This is the third marriage for Jackson; She married soul singer James DeBarge in 1984, but their marriage was annulled just one year later. Her marriage to music video director Rene Elizondo lasted much longer – they married in 1991 and divorced 9 years later in 2000. Now that she’s married again, a source tells US weekly, the star wants to start a family with Wissam Al Mana, 37. She wants kids," said the source. "If she can't have them, she will adopt."

Get it right, get richer (you’ll already be rich, if you’re performing at the Super Bowl, these days). Get it wrong? Of the many trademark dance moves that the late megastar Michael Jackson showcased to the world - the Moonwalk, the Toe Stand, the Anti-Gravity Lean - the Crotch Grab has got to be the most frequently copied by popstars everywhere. The reason? No one's ever thought of the Jackson's as being short of money, but Janet Jackson's $150m pile seems nothing short of paltry in contrast to her new fiancée's billions. According to US Weekly, Al Mana gave the singer a "huge, expensive ring" earlier in the year. Al Mana is the managing director or Al Mana retail which is heavily involved with A/XArmani Exchange as well as being a big stake holder in Saks Fifth Avenue, reports the Daily Mail. At the age of 37 he's almost ten years Jackson's junior, but according to a US Weekly source she's eager to start a family- but if she can't have children she'll adopt. Having been married twice before but having borne no children, it's likely that she'll be eager to have some little ones to help bear that Jackson/Al Mana legacyc.

So it is Beyonce's turn to lead out the fun and games at the famous Super Bowl half-time show. Quite frankly it's been a long time coming; one of the premiere pop stars of the past decade and more, the former Destiny's Child's star power has been calling out for her to get the spot at some point. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves and assume that just because she is who she is, she's going to deliver a stunning fifteen minutes. Plenty of big names have been known to fall; here are some of, what we reckon to be the worst half-time shows in Super Bowl history.

The fact that everyone was talking about M.I.A having the audacity to stick her finger up at television cameras tells you just how boring this half-time show actually was. A creaking Madonna did what she's ended up doing on most of her shows this year and sent her crowd into a stupor, with garish and brash visuals and costume not making up for an utter formulaic performance from the (former?) Queen of Pop. She should be thanking M.I.A for giving us a reason to remember it to be honest.

Oprah Winfrey has topped the first Forbes magazine Richest Women Entertainers List. The big business publication estimates the media mogul has made a staggering $1.5 billion in her career as a newscaster, talk show host, publisher and actress. Winfrey tops Harry Potter author Jk Rowling, who comes in second with a $1 billion fortune, while US lifestyle queen Martha Stewart rounds out the top three with $638 million (GBP327 million). Madonna ranks fourth on the new list, followed by Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston.

German fans of pop star Mariah Carey were in for more than they bargained for when the singing sensation accidentally flashed fans. Carey suffered from an accidental "wardrobe malfunction" during filming for a German television show, when her dress fell apart, accidentally flashing her breasts at stunned fans, before being rescued by stage-hands. 

While performing in Germany, Mariah Carey's dress fell open.

The star's experience was similar to that of Janet Jackson's infamous incident in 2004, which coined the phrase "wardrobe malfunction" in the first place. After briefly exposing herself, Carey was saved from further shame by the show's floor managers, who turned off the lights, allowing her to cover herself, recover her clothing, and leave the stage whilst hidden from view, according to a report from MTV news, who were present at the time.
