The singer/actress has been awarded a gold star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday (Nov 13th) in LA, Ca.
Hudson was joined by her WWE Superstar fiancé 'David Otunga' and their four-year old son, David Jnr.
The 'I Remember Me' hit maker is definitely a worthy recipient as she made the leap from music to film industry in exceptional style.
Jennifer made her big screen debut in 'Dream Girls' (2006) as 'Effie Melody White', which won her an Oscar for 'Best Supporting Actress'.
Shortly after the ceremony, Hudson posted a photo of herself on Instagram posing with the star, the caption read, "Just got my star on the #WalkOfFame!! Such an honor. @ Hollywood Walk Of Fame."
According to E!News, Hudson took to the stage and was very emotional in accepting the award as she thanked God;
"I knew I would get emotional and I'm sure my mom is in heaven like 'Jenny stop crying' but now's the time to cry mama, it is," she said with a smile, looking up to the sky. "This is an amazing honor as we all know and I did not see this coming. I'm so honored to be here with so many that I love and I feel as though we're all a family."
The 32 year-old stars in three upcoming films this year, she plays 'Winnie Mandela' in 'Winnie', followed by a role in the dram film 'The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete' and finally she will star in 'Black Naivety' alongside Forrest Whitaker.
