Actor John Stamos has reportedly entered rehab one month after he was arrested for an alleged DUI in Beverly Hills. Since the incident the actor had been keeping busy, working on sequel My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 in Toronto, as well as promoting his upcoming Fox comedy ‘Grandfathered’.

The news was first reported by People magazine who wrote that Stamos has, ‘checked himself into a residential program for the treatment of substance abuse’. This comes just under a month after his June 12th arrest which also saw him taken to the hospital.

According to reports at the time of the incident Stamos was stopped by officers near Canon Driver and South Santa Monica Boulevard after police received "numerous calls" about a possible DUI driver.

The actor was then taken to hospital tor a ‘possible medical condition’, where he was later placed under arrest for DUI after a ‘subsequent investigation determined he was under the influence’. He is currently scheduled to appear in court on September 11th to answer the DUI charge.

The day after the incident Stamos tweeted, "Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care.” Along with starring in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 and Fox’s ‘Grandfathered’ Stamos is also set to reprise his role as Uncle Jesse on the upcoming Netflix revival of 'Full House' which he will also executive produce.
