‘Full House’ star John Stamos has spoken about the difficult past few months he’s facied following a reported DUI arrest and a 30-day stint in rehab. Speaking to Details, Stamos said he now feels better than he’s felt in a decade after entering a treatment facility earlier this year.

John Stamos has spoken about his recent rehab stint.

"I've had a rough year with my mom dying, so it all came to a head, and it was a turning point," the 52-year-old said. “You either continue on that path—and some of it's fun, but a lot of it's not—or there's this other thing, this golden opportunity sitting there with all this work and all this goodwill that you have going for you.”

John Stamos pushed for the sacking of the Olsen twins from Full House, the 51-year-old actor admitted at a press conference on Thursday (6th August). Stamos’ attempt at having Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen fired came to light when the preview of The Unauthorized Full House Story was published online earlier this week. The Lifetime movie is a dramatization of what allegedly went on behind the scenes during filming of the sitcom between 1987 and 1995.

John Stamos is out of rehab and feeling ‘healthy’ the actor has told his fans via Twitter. The ‘Full House’ star is said to have sought treatment following an incident last month when he was arrested for an alleged DUI in Beverly Hills.

’Full House’ actor John Stamos was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence on Friday night, the Beverly Hills Police Department has confirmed. The 51 year old actor was stopped by police at around 7:45pm on Friday evening, after they received numerous calls reporting a possible drunk driver in the area.

John Stamos was arrested on Friday evening.

According to E! News, officers stopped Stamos who was alone in his vehicle, at Beverly Drive and South Santa Monica. He was then taken to a nearby hospital for a possible medical condition where he was later placed under arrest for DUI after a ‘subsequent investigation determined he was under the influence’.

Dave Coulier will be starring in the revival series of Full House, the 55-year-old actor and comedian announced via Instagram on Thursday (7th May). Coulier starred as Joey Gladstone in the original series. The Big Bang Theory director Mark Cendrowski will also be joining the upcoming series.

John Stamos has "called b*ullshit" on the Olsen twins claim that the Full House star forgot to tell them about the new Netflix revival of the classic 90s show. During an interview with Women's Wear Daily, the fashionistas said they "just found out" about the reboot and were "shocked" that Stamos hadn't informed them.

‘Full House’ may be coming back to screens, but it was apparently news to two of the original series’ biggest stars. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen claim that the first they had heard of the revival was John Stamos making the announcement on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ earlier this week.

News broke on Monday that the fondly-remembered series would be getting a reboot under the name ‘Fuller House’, after Netflix commissioned thirteen new episodes. But in an interview with WWD on Tuesday, Ashley Olsen said that they had heard nothing prior to the actual announcement.
