Josh Hutcherson's kissing scenes with Jennifer Lawrence on the set of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire were anything but steamy - because she was frequently sick and wiping snot from her nose during the shoot.
The co-stars opened up about their on-screen romance as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark during a panel discussion at Comic-Con in San Diego, California over the weekend (19-21Jul13), and when a fan asked about their chemistry in the second film, the pair admitted some of the takes were especially gross.
Lawrence said, "Oh my God, we should have brought the clip with the snot... I'll put it on YouTube or something, you gotta see it... there's all this snot coming out of my nose, and when I go to kiss Josh, it connects with his mouth. So, yes, it'll be very hot."
But the hunk didn't seem to mind the fluid exchange, grinning as he added, "There was a lot of slobber."
During the event, Lawrence also chatted about her elaborate costumes in the highly-anticipated sequel, confessing she had trouble walking in her character's wedding dress during the victory tour scene.
Poking fun at her infamous fall at the Oscars earlier this year (13), when she fell up the stairs while heading to collect her Best Actress prize, she added of the movie outfit, "Wearing it was one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life, and you can tell, I think. It was huge. Five feet in circumference. I'm not good at walking in giant dresses, as we know."
