Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has blasted the bosses of his hometown's new venue after they replaced the British group as the Leeds Arena's opening act for concerts headlined by Sir Elton John and Bruce Springsteen.
The I Predict a Riot singer took to Twitter.com to vent his frustration after learning his band - one of the high points of last summer's (12) London Olympics celebrations - would no longer be opening the arena with their gig in September (13).
In a furious tweet, which has since been deleted, Wilson raged, "Really f**cked off with @leeds_arena. They asked us to open the thing then put Elton on the week before and now Bruce."
Springsteen will now cut the tape on the new venue on 24 July (13).
