Kim Kardashian thinks her fiance Kanye West is an ''amazing'' father but admits he won't change seven-month-old North's diapers.
Kanye West is not ''a diaper-changing'' guy.
While the 'Bound 2' rapper's fiancee, Kim Kardashian, says he is an ''amazing'' dad to their seven-month-old daughter North, she admits he draws the line at some of the messier aspects of childcare - but she insists she doesn't mind as it gives her more chance to bond with the little girl.
She said: ''He is honestly the most amazing dad. He loves her so much. He just left to go out of town, so I send him a picture and video every day. He's like, 'She grew up so much!' and I'm like, 'Babe, it's been one day. You haven't seen her in a day. Not a lot has changed.' But he really is a hands-on dad.
''He's not a diaper-changing kind of guy and that's OK. He would if it's an emergency. But I love that time. I know it sounds crazy, but I love my time with her when she's on the changing table. She tries to talk so much and I really enjoy that bonding time when I'm with her.''
Kanye proposed to Kim on her birthday in October and she admits his elaborate proposal - which saw him hire out AT&T Park baseball stadium in San Francisco to pop the question in front of her family and friends - came as a complete surprise.
Speaking on an episode of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' airing today (17.01.14), she said: ''That was probably one of the only times I've been surprised. I usually know everything and I was actually so shocked that he kept that a secret from me. And it was such a good secret. But he's also so passionate about birthdays. That's his thing.
''I truly didn't know it was happening until he got down on one knee.''
The couple plan to tie the knot this summer but the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star insisted they haven't set a specific date yet.
She said: ''We honestly haven¹t picked a date yet. We said when we were on our trip skiing this New Year's that we were going to pick the date and location, and that hasn't happened. We know we want it in the summertime, but we just, we've got to figure that out.''
