Kanye West will reunite with Taylor Swift at this year's (10) MTV Video Music Awards 12 months after he disgraced himself by storming the stage and ruining her acceptance speech - if host Chelsea Handler has her way.
The rapper shocked the star-studded audience at last year's (09) ceremony after he jumped on the stage in protest at Swift's win for Best Female Video - insisting the prize belonged to Beyonce for her hit, Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).
West has kept a low profile since the embarrassing incident, but is reportedly planning to make his comeback with a performance at the 2010 awards show on 12 September (10).
Funnywoman Handler will take charge of the prizegiving - and admitted on Ryan Seacrest's Los Angeles radio show on Thursday (19Aug10) she'd like to see the pair make up on stage.
Handler said: "I want to go and film some ridiculous stuff, and see if we can do something with Kanye, because I always talk about Kanye.
"I'd like to get them (West and Swift) together. We've never really seen them together since then...
"We'll try to think of something clever to do with them, because that would be really fun."
