Khloe Kardashian's marriage to Lamar Odom came crumbling down late last year (2013), but infertility was not an issue.

The reality TV star must have recognised that bringing a baby into her marriage wasn't the right decision, as any pregnancy plans were put on hold.

Her older sister, Kim, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this past Thursday (Jan 23rd) and she revealed that Khloe didn't become pregnant because she was simply "not trying."

"So long, everyone in our family was feeling really sad for Khloe thinking that she wasn't getting pregnant and everyone around her was," the 33 year-old said.

"And the whole time, she wasn't trying to and she was not showing up to these doctors' appointments behind our back on purpose."

Khloe had different plans in mind, and starting a family with her estranged ex-husband, Odom, wasn't one of them.

"She knew that it wasn't right," Kim added. "She knew that she wasn't ready."

Since the breakdown of her marriage and eventually filing for divorce on December 13th, the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star admitted, "So now we understand it and we understand her decisions, it's very clear."

Khloe attempted to divulge the precise problems she suffers from when it comes to conceiving, in an interview with Redbook.

"It's more about my hormones being off. I was taking hormone shots to stabilize them, and you have to take these shots consistently and they have to be done by a doctor," she revealed.

The 29 year-old also commented on having a child in her life isn't a necessity at this current time in her life, but is definitely something she would aspire to in the distant future.

"People assume I'm desperate for a baby," she said. "Yes, I would love to have a baby. But I'm 28, and I've been married three and a half years. I love my life, but it doesn't feel incomplete right now."
