Kim Kardashian appeared on the cover of Paper magazine in a photograph which has certainly got everyone talking including the likes of Chelsea Handler, Naya Rivera and Lorde.

In two pictures, which the magazine and Kardashian posted online on Wednesday (12th November), the 34-year-old flashed her bottom cheekily at the camera whilst stepping out of a stretchy black dress. In another Kardashian, working with photographer Jean-Paul Goude, balanced a champagne glass on her ample backside with a popped bottle of champagne in her hands.

Paper's cover read 'Break the Internet Kim Kardashian' and, whilst that may have been a little optimistic, it's certainly got tongues wagging. Whilst some, including Kardashian's family and friends have been supportive of her recent photo shoot, there are certainly a number of people who are less than impressed with the reality star's revealing photographs.

Here's the reaction of a few celebrities:

Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler took to Instagram in a move which killed two birds with one stone. Handler was not only mocking Kardashian's most recent shoot but also criticising Instagram for removing a recent image in which she mocked Vladimir Putin whilst riding a horse topless. Handler, pictured from behind with her trousers and underwear around her legs, shows her bottom in the bathroom mirror. She also suggested Kardashian's bottom is fake - a question we've long been pondering - and wrote: 'Can you believe more than 2 ass can fit on the same screen? Guess which one's real. Your move, Instagram.'

Naya Rivera

Former Glee star Naya Rivera allegedly posted a comment on Kardashian's Instagram post of the infamous butt picture. Rivera reportedly reminded Kardashian she is a mother and implied she should remember this when at photo shoots. Rivera wrote: 'I normally don't. But. you're someone's mother.'

In response to Rivera's comments, Kardashian's friend Jonathan Cheban posted on his website a parody of the 1992 film Single White Female movie poster with the two actors' faces replaced by Kardashian's and Rivera's. He alleges Rivera is simply a copycat of Kardashian and has spent a year 'impersonating' her. Khloe Kardashian shared Cheban's comments with her 11.4 million Twitter followers.

Lorde

18-year-old singer Lorde also voiced her opinion on Twitter but her comment could have been taken either way. At first it appeared, like Rivera, Lorde was reminding Kardashian of her maternal duties with her comment 'Mom'. However, Lorde later confirmed to Perez Hilton she was actually being positive about Kardashian's photograph and apparently used 'Mom' as a way of showing her appreciation.

Now we just need to sit and wait for the ultimate kings of Kimye parody, James Franco and Seth Rogan, to make their move.
