Kylie Minogue is getting in the Christmas spirit! The Australian popstar has just unveiled her festive waxwork at London’s Madame Tussauds and she’s also released new album, Kylie Christmas, which is packed full of holiday themed tracks.

Wearing a red velvet dress and sparkly black waisted belt, Kylie described meeting the waxwork as an “honour”. “Wow, I just need to have a look at myself,” the singer said. The figure was dressed in a red chiffon dress, red stilettos and sports the same headdress that appears on Kylie’s new album cover.

“I’ve been in this situation before and I thought I’d be cool but it is just such an honour. I think she looks great.” Later the singer shared a pic of herself alongside the figure on Instagram and wrote: "Two posers!!!!!! #KylieChristmas revealed at @madametussauds today!!!”

Madame Tussauds General Manager, Edward Fuller said: “She is one of the most popular personalities here and has been since we introduced her first figure - which is a testament to her prolific career and extraordinary popularity.”

“I can’t think of anyone better to be our shining Christmas star than Kylie and we know our guests will appreciate the opportunity to capture a unique seasonal moment with her.” Kylie was first immortalised in wax at Madame Tussauds in 1989, she was given her second figure in 1998 and then a third in 2002.
