Kylie Minogue is hoping her latest album, 'Aphrodite' will have the same success as Lady GaGa's massive 'Bad Romance'.
Kylie Minogue hopes her new album is as good as Lady GaGa's 'Bad Romance'.
The pint-sized Australian singer has revealed that she would be pleased if any tracks on her new record, 'Aphrodite' are in the same league as Lady Gaga's huge hit, which went to number one in both the UK and the US.
When asked by NME if her album matched the standard set by 'Bad Romance' she replied: "Oh God, I hope so! I love it! That's a benchmark I'd be happy to be sitting next to."
The 42-year-old 'Spinning Around' star was also questioned about why she doesn't say much in interviews.
She explained: "Where that comes from is usually you're asked the same questions the whole time, and secondly, when youâve been burnt in the past it's like you have to operate thinking, 'OK, what am I going to say, then how's that going to be written, then how's it going to be interpreted?' â
Kylie also told InStyle last night (08.06.10) that she hadn't ruled out appearing on 'The X Factor' again. She said: "I loved working with my sister last year and I'd definitely do it again if she asked me to!"
