Lea Michele remembered Cory Monteith, two years on from his death, in a touching post on social media on Monday (13th July).
Lea Michele paid a heartfelt tribute to her Glee star and former boyfriend, Cory Monteith, two years on from his tragic death at the age of 31. Michele took to social media on 13th July to share her thoughts with fans.

‘I know you would want us all laughing and smiling today.. So we think of you and remember all the laughter and joy we shared together. I hold you in my heart always and love and miss you so...’ Michele captioned a picture of Monteith driving as sun streamed through the car windows.
Monteith, who played quarterback Finn Hudson on Glee, died on 13th July 2013 of a heroin overdose. His death shocked many of his fans as, although they were aware he had suffered from substance abuse problems in the past, it was thought he had sought therapy successfully.
Michele and Monteith, who met in 2008 when they were cast on Glee, had been dating for two years before his untimely death.
Michele is currently in a relationship with Matthew Paetz.
In other Lea Michele news, the 28-year-old actress is starring in Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens, due to be released in the fall. The upcoming anthology series centres on a college campus which is shocked by a series of murders. Michele stars alongside Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande, Abigail Brelin, Keke Palmer, Jamie Lee Curtis and Oliver Hudson.
The cast, including Michele, were recently at San Diego’s Comic-Con and Michele and Palmer took the opportunity to take over the show’s Instagram account. Both shared shots from their time at Comic-Con, including signing autographs and even trying the Scream Queens fairground ride.
