Rick Santorum and Lindsay Lohan have become the talk of the internet today (April 30, 2012) after a bizarre incident at the White House Correspondent's Dinner on Saturday. Though reports are sketchy, TMZ.com say Lohan was sitting with Greta Van Susteren when Republican candidate Santorum approached the pair.
Santorum then asked Lohan to take a picture of him with Van Susteren, but then snapped his own picture of Lindsay alone. Sources say the actress "smiled and obliged", before Santorum went on his way. Santorum was quizzed on his snapping by reporters outside the White House, though he immediately looked uncomfortable and mumbled, "I took a picture of a lot of people today". One reporter was heard to ask, "Did you take a picture of Lindsay Lohan. Why a photograph of Lindsay?", to which he replied, "Ask my girls.that's who they.", before trailing off. It didn't turn out to be a great night for the Republican - who dropped out of the race to go head-to-head with President Barack Obama at the elections later this year. Host Jimmy Kimmel tore into the politician during his hosting, saying, "You know, it's one thing to oppose gay marriage. It's another all together to do it in a sweater vest".
Others who attended the annual bash at the White House included Kim Kardashian - who also took her fair share of flak from Kimmel - and the actor GEORGE CLOONEY.
