New York alternative soul duo Lion Babe are hitting the road in the UK for the very first time for a week of dates this Spring. The news comes after the release of their incredible latest single 'Treat Me Like Fire', and the announcement that they'll be hitting SXSW this year.

The pair; who are Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman; cross the pond for five co-headlining dates with Swedish singer Seinabo Sey from May 19th 2015, reaching audiences in Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and London, the latter of which will see them hit the famous Scala venue.

Lion Babe will be making further high profile appearances this year, namely SXSW 2015 in Austin, Texas where they will be performing as part of the Hype Hotel showcase alongside Natalie Prass, Daniel Wilson, Spoon and Years And Years. They'll be performing material from their self-titled debut EP released in January 2014 not to mention teasers from their hugely anticipated forthcoming debut album.

Their newest single 'Treat Me Like Fire' has been making waves in the UK recently, with the song (as well as 'Jump Hi') landing on BBC Radio 1Xtra's 'Hot 4 2015' playlist. Lion Babe have already reached in excess of 6 million streams globally - and the release of their first album will no doubt double those numbers. 'Treat Me Like Fire' was also re-released this year as a mini remix compilation entitled 'Treat Me Like Fire: UK Remixes', featuring producers Snakehips, Star Slinger and Soultech, and also comes accompanied by a video directed by London's Kate Moross.
