Bosses At A Madame Tussauds Attraction In Las Vegas Have Stepped Up Security Around A Nicki Minaj Waxwork After Visitors Took A Selection Of Sexually Suggestive Pictures With The Figure.
The rapper is shown in a pose from the video for her song Anaconda, on all fours and clad in just the underwear she donned in the promo.
After its unveiling earlier this month (Aug15), some visitors took pictures of themselves pretending to perform sex acts on the figure, and Madame Tussauds executives have now decided to install extra security guards to protect the model after one particularly disturbing image came to light.
A statement from Madame Tussauds reads, "We have been made aware of the inappropriate photograph which was taken at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas involving Nicki Minaj's new wax figure. Madame Tussauds attractions are interactive immersive experiences and our guests are generally respectful towards the wax figure. It is unfortunate that this visitor decided to behave so inappropriately and we apologise for any offence this has caused...
"We are taking immediate steps to ensure more staff are present in this area and that the set around this particular figure so that a picture like this cannot be taken again."
