Fact: British Oscar nominee Samantha Morton and Hong Kong director Peter Chan will join producer Michael Mann on the Venice Film Festival jury when the event kicks off in Italy next month (Aug12). Israeli filmmaker Ari Folman and French actress/model Laetitia Casta will also serve on the nine-person panel, which will determine the winners of the prestigious Golden Lion awards.
