Motley Crue Drummer Tommy Lee Was Forced To Sit Out His Fifth Show On The Band's Farewell Tour On Tuesday (20oct15) As He Continues To Suffer From Tendonitis.
The rocker was diagnosed with inflammation in his left wrist earlier this month (Oct15), leaving him unable to play the drums during the group's joint shows with Alice Cooper in New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Maine last week (begs12Oct15). Cooper's drummer Glen Sobel filled in for Lee at the gigs, while he also sat in for the rocker during Motley Crue's final performance on the latest North American leg of their trek in Quebec, Canada on Tuesday (20Oct15).
However, a frustrated Lee, who repeatedly posted the hashtag "#f**kyoutendonitis" on his Twitter page on Tuesday, wasn't completely absent from the shows - he has been able to use his right hand to play Home Sweet Home on the piano, while serving as the band's emcee.
Motley Crue have a two-week break before heading to Europe to continue their farewell jaunt in Newcastle, England on 2 November (15). They will return for one last North American run in December (15), before bowing out of the touring circuit for good on New Year's Eve (31Dec15) in Los Angeles.
