The Chic frontman is set to launch the FOLD! Festival, an abbreviation of Freak Out Let's Dance, in August (15) and the weekend will feature an array of music genres including rock, pop, funk, hip-hop and country.

As well as taking to the stage with Chic, Rodgers will host onsite recording sessions with some of the stars of the show.

A press release from organisers reads, "Over two nights, Rodgers will create the ultimate mash-up between each artist’s distinctive sound and his own groundbreaking style."

Other music stars featured in the line-up include Duran Duran, Janelle Monae and Keith Urban.
