British singer Olly Murs saw off competition from Bruno Mars, Pink and Rihanna to be named most-played act of 2013 in the U.K.
The Heart Skips a Beat hitmaker topped the list compiled by officials at music royalty body Phonographic Performance Limited (Ppl).
Mars came in second, Pink was third, and Rihanna was at number four. DJ Calvin Harris rounded out the most-played top five.
Murs says, "I'm absolutely delighted I've won this award. I'd like to thank all the writers and producers on all the records that I've done, they've been incredible, of course the Tv channels, the radio stations, the pubs, the clubs, the bingo halls, whoever has played my songs."
Pharrell Williams boasts 2013's top two most-played tracks, Get Lucky with Daft Punk and Blurred Lines with Robin Thicke. Other songs which received huge amounts of Tv and radio airplay include Mirrors by Justin Timberlake and Mars' Locked Out Of Heaven.
