The 1D boys are back breaking records again, this time they've smashed the record for most view in 24 hours for a Vevo video
The One Direction lads have released the video for their new single 'Best Song Ever' and already, after a a little over 24 hours, the video has racked up over 12 million views. The vid broke the record for most views in a full day, fetching 10.9 million views after 24 hours.
The video has been a long time coming and already the song has dominated the airwaves and the charts across the globe.
The X Factor UK finalists - Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne - premiered the video on Monday (July 22) and managed to blow Miley Cyrus' previous record for 'We Can't Stop,' which racked up 10.7 million views in the same time period.
The band released the track as the lead single from their upcoming third studio album, which is still untitled and due out this autumn. As well as the album, the track is in support of their new movie One Direction: This Is Us too. The Morgan Spurlock-directed (Super-Size Me) fly-on-the-wall documentary, which even features an appearance from Simon Cowell, is out this summer, opening in the US on August 30 and a day earlier the UK.

The business-keen mind of Simon Cowell has also lined-up a new 1D book to be released in time for Christmas, around the same time the album comes out (and probably in time for the DVD/Blu Ray of the movie to be released too). While you're at it, the band have also announced a mini-stadium tour too, with details available on their official website.
