Radiohead may have just today launched a creepy new song entitled 'Burn The Witch', but we're having a bit of a nostalgic moment reflecting on the fact that it's been over 20 years since they released their amazing second album 'The Bends'. They've come a long way.

RadioheadRadiohead released The Bends in 1995

The artist... Radiohead formed in 1985 in Oxfordshire, with Thom Yorke on lead vocals. They didn't release their first album until 1993, when 'Pablo Honey' came out led by their stellar debut single 'Creep'. They've sold over 30 million albums worldwide and have won three Grammy Awards.

The album... Okay, so it didn't hit the bar they set with 'Creep' from their debut album, but this was a Platinum selling masterpiece just the same. Released on Parlophone in 1995, it showcased the many sides of Radiohead; including their tenderness and their ability to appeal to a crowd.

Why you need to hear it... This is probably as raw as Radiohead could be and it's brimming with important life messages. Plus, it doesn't get quite as depressing as 'Creep'.

The best song... 'My Iron Lung' - the instrumental behind this one was recorded totally live, further affirming the rawness presented by the album as a whole. Plus, that riff is one of the catchiest things that pop music has ever seen.

Where are they now? Still going strong; they take the occasional hiatus, but today they've unveiled their first new music for five years. 'Burn the Witch' is the newest single, released just days after the band mysteriously erased their whole web presence.
