It almost kills me to say it, but Vice is a great song. It’s catchy, has a fantastic chorus and possesses brilliant dynamics, but liking this track will be a bitter pill to swallow for many music fans.
The true arrogance of frontman Johnny Borrell has done the band no favours but its’ just as well that up to now Razorlight have come up with more than decent goods.
Vice is pacey and hard but doesn’t escape from the emotional core that is seemingly present in every Razorlight track. However, there is a one-off feature present only in Vice…it’s Borrell’s mobile number, it’s not that well disguised and you’ll definitely hear it now you know it’s there. Apparently Borrell wants his fans to call him and discuss their own vices – go on I dare you!
