The comparisons between Rita Ora and Rihanna have been coming thick and fast, with the pair having similar back stories and not too dissimilar pop stylings. What with joining Roc Nation, teaming up with Drake and getting Jay Z to help out too, you can see why those links are being made, and they're ties Ora was only too happy to discuss to MTV.
"I take it as a compliment, the comparison is a great one," she told their news channel recently, "It's not like it's someone I'm not a fan of, so I'm happy to be compared to someone like that." Continuing, she mooted the possibility of a collaboration between the pair, and said "Doing a feature with her would be so cool."
Indeed it was clearly something Ora had given a great deal of thought, and she made up a collaborative scenario that even had a detailed video outlined, complete with dialogue. "The video would be kinda hot," she laughed. "I'd be, like, chasing Rihanna the whole time. ... I'd be like come on, man, give me a shot, man! Let me just take you out!'" This sounds great! Although the star then backtracked, saying "No, I'm joking; I'm very, very much straight." Shame. Ora has shot into recognition with the song 'How We Do' making the US Pop charts last month.
