Rita Ora wants to have a baby with husband Taika Waititi "one day".

The 33-year-old pop star and the New Zealand filmmaker tied the knot in August 2022 and although she is busy with her music and acting career at the moment motherhood is something that is in her plans in the future.

When asked if she wants to have a child, she said: “I will be one day. I’d love to.”

Since becoming Taika's wife, Rita has become stepmother to his two daughters – his children with his ex-wife, New Zealand film producer Chelsea Winstanley.

The 'Let You Love Me' hitmaker says it has been a privilege to become part of their lives and she loves hanging out and having fun with them both.

Speaking on US radio, she said: “I took Taika and his kids, my stepkids now, to Disney and it’s fun! There’s nothing like being a kid, I just want to be a kid forever.

“It’s awesome, all the fireworks that they do and the display.”

In a previous interview, Rita admitted she doesn't think she'll "ever get used" to being married to Taika, 48.

Speaking on Apple Music 1's 'The Rebecca Judd Show', the pop star - who can be seen playing the Queen of Hearts in Disney movie 'Descendants: The Rise Of Red' - said: "She put a ring on it. He put a ring on it. Well, I mean, I forced him to put a ring on it.

"I don't think I'll ever get used to it. It's good though, because that's my guy. We create together, we inspire each other, we have a lot of plans to do so many projects together, which I think people are going to be genuinely surprised about."
