‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star Rob Kardashian has been hospitalised and diagnosed with diabetes, TMZ reports. According to the gossip site Rob hadn’t been feeling well over the weekend and when his condition worsened, his family became alarmed and took him to an L.A. hospital.

After doctors performed tests on the 28 year old he was diagnosed with the condition, he was then stabilised him and is now said to be back at home, according to E! News. "He's home already. He went for a little and is fine now. It was a wake up call," a source told the website.

The insider added that Rob's tests revealed his blood sugar levels were very high and he was told by doctors that he needs to lose weight, exercise and dramatically change his diet, or it will get worse. 

Rob has shunned the spotlight over the past two years, after struggling with depression and weight issues, after reportedly gaining over 100 pounds. Last year he even missed sister Kim’s wedding to Kanye West.

Speaking about her brother to People magazine in October, Khloe Kardashian said: "He's such a great guy. That's also what's so infuriating. He’s charming, charismatic, everything. But I'm like, where is your will to live? Where is your will to live life? Let's be around people!"
