Robbie Williams has filed for voluntary bankruptcy on behalf of his fashion line Farrell.
Robbie Williams' fashion line has gone into liquidation.
The Take That singer filed for voluntary bankruptcy on Monday October 14 for Farrell, the menswear line he founded in September 2011.
He told The Telegraph newspaper: ''The support of the men's press and retailers internationally since we started has been incredible and I want to thank them. I have also been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with the talented Ben Dickens and will miss creating and working with and wish him every luck for the future.''
The 'Candy' hitmaker's pop-up shop in London's Covent Garden closed on Monday, with all staff dismissed immediately, and the brand's website has now shut down. The shop was only open for six weeks after being set up in August for a scheduled period of six months.
Robbie hired former Burberry design director Ben Dickens to oversee the collections, which were stocked at Selfridges and House of Fraser.
The brand was based upon ''great integrity, honesty, good manners and a sense of humour.''
