British actor Rowan Atkinson is selling off his favourite sports car for $12.8 million (£8 million).
The Mr. Bean star brought the MCLaren F1 for $864,000 (£540,000) in 1997 and since then its value has massively increased.
Atkinson insists he isn't selling the car for the money, but thinks it is time someone gets to enjoy owning the vehicle.
He tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "It was never bought as an investment. I bought it for the quality of the thinking that went into its design and now it has become a thing of value, it is time for it to be enjoyed by someone else... What I enjoyed most about it when I first drove it was how lovely it was to drive slowly. To pootle is a pleasure. Of course I've gone to a track and done 200 miles per hour in it."
