The star is apparently unmoved by her ex's latest run-in with the law, her BFF told Ryan Seacrest earlier this week
Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez go way back
It had been reported in recent weeks that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber looked as though they were on the path to reconciliation, having been spotted sharing a romantic segway ride together earlier this month. If Selena's pal Demi Lovato is to believed though, her fellow former Disney star isn't as cosy with her ex as the media might think, and she isn't feeling too hung up about Bieber's latest actions either.
Lovato appeared on Ryan Seacrest's 'On Air With Ryan Seacrest' radio show earlier this week, where she spoke briefly about her pal Gomez and where she stands on the whole Bieber arrest thing. Apparently she's "doing really well" and although Lovato wanted to keep what her pal had said between them, she gave off the impression that her friend isn't too bothered about what her increasingly despised former flame gets up to in his spare time.
"We're really, really close," Lovato told Seacrest during her interview (via Zap2It). "And any advice I had for her, we talked last night and it's between us. But I love her so much."
The singer and X Factor co-judge continued, "We have an incredible friendship, [she's] strong! She's doing really well right now!"
One person who isn't doing so well however is Bieber, who as we all know was arrested and charged with a DUI offence following a post-club drag race in a residential part of Miami. He appeared in court on Thursday, 23 January where he was set a $2,500 bail, which was promptly paid for and Justin was sent on his way.
Selena is evidentially doing much better than Bieber following their break-up
