The cast and crew of upcoming car action movie 'Getaway' demonstrate a few vehicular stunts in the latest promotional featurettes and talk about what went into creating these stunts and their consequences.
'We went through 130 cars', said director and producer Courtney Solomon. 'We literally had our own junkyard.' The movie's star Ethan Hawke enthused about it being an 'old-school car chase movie', though co-star Selena Gomez was less happy about it. 'Ethan starts doing these doughnuts and I'm like, 'Have you ever done this before?' and he's like, 'Nope!' I'm like, 'Great this is totally how I'm gonna die'', she recalls. 'But he's actually a really, really good driver.' And in case you were wondering, director of photography Yaron Levy reiterates, 'There's no CG in the car stunts, everything is real.'
