McCartney arriving in Tokyo in May.
McCartney performed at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York on Saturday (5th July) and appeared to be back on top form, as USA Today reports. He is continuing his Out There tour, the Asia leg of which had to be cancelled due to his illness. Although McCartney initially cancelled only one night in Tokyo (17th May), it soon became apparent he would not be well enough to continue on to the other venues in Japan. He was due to perform in Seoul, Korea on 28th May but was also forced to cancel.
McCartney sang a whole host of songs from his days in the Beatles including 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Eight Days A Week'. The three hour set also included many of his solo efforts such as his tribute to John Lennon 'Here Today'.

The British music icon is set to continue touring the US and will be visiting and performing in 18 other cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. The tour dates run throughout July and August when he will take a two month break. McCartney's Out There tour is set to end in the US on 30th October.
