The Thong Song hitmaker insists he hired 27 Red Music to collect royalties from various music publishing companies, TMZ.com reports.

The money was due from his back catalogue of hits between 1996 and 2005 but the star - real name Mark Althavean Andrews - claims $600,000 (£375,000) was collected and he didn't receive a penny.

The former Dru Hill member is demanding his share of the royalties plus $3 million (£1.8 million) in punitive damages.

The singer's recent lawsuit comes after he sued Kedar Entertainment Group (KEG) earlier this year (15), claiming a record label botched his deal and cost him millions.

Sisqo filed the lawsuit alongside Dru Hill, and alleging KEG bosses promised to spend $300,000 (£187,500) on marketing their comeback albums in 2009, but failed. They also claim they received no royalties from those album sales.
