A Suspect Accused Of Mowing Down A Crowd Of Revellers Outside A Gig At The South by Southwest Festival In Austin, Texas Has Pleaded Not Guilty To Murder Charges.
Rashad Owens, 23, appeared at Travis County District Court on Thursday (24Sep15), 18 months after he allegedly drove his car into a crowd, killing four gig-goers and injuring more than 20 others.
He denied one charge of capital murder and four murder counts, along with 24 counts of aggravated assault, according to Billboard.com.
Owens remains behind bars on $5.5 million (£3.4 million) bail. A pre-trial hearing has been set for 15 October (15).
