Steve Carell, star of The 40 Year Old Virgin and the American version of The Office, appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman on Tuesday night.

He talked with chat show star Letterman about his time on The Office and his impeding year-long break from the show, and revealed his approval for his replacement, James Spader, commenting: "I have no regrets in terms of moving on.I left at the right time for me. But the show will continue and will be great.I look forward to watching him[Spader].I think it's going to be a great year."
