| Thankfully, the Electricity EP, sees The Avalanches reverting back to the uplifting sound of their first single Since I Left You, well away from the cut n paste of Frontier Psychiatrist. Destined for more chart success, its charm lies in its disco filtered synths and friendly beats. Harvey does a tame re-edit, Dr Rockit (aka Matthew Herbert) provides a twisted techy mix and DJ Sneak concentrates on the up-tempo beats. A fine package. |
